Which US state should I expand to first?

I was thinking maybe Texas or Florida, but New York and Michigan are the closest to me (I'm from Ontario). I ain't ever gonna do business in Orgeon, Washington, nor California; if New York wasn't so close, I'd boycott their asses too. I'm in automation and I'm still seed stage and pre-revenue, but I'm in the process of incorporating federally in Canada. Eventually, I'm gonna expand globally and why not America, the best economy with laws and regulations heavily benefitting businesses. I was thinking somewhere in the south of USA to be a central location for the Americas.

And no, I don't care if my fellow Canadians view me as a traitor; why would I prioritize a country that quite literally hates me for who I am? If I was in America from the beginning, I would've been in Series A (early growth) and be a fucking multi-millionaire by now, instead of seed stage and about to be millionaire. Might seem too good to be true when I'm not making any revenue, but stock options even if unexercised are a thing for corporations. Even the ultra wealthy like Bezos and Musk don't exercise their stock options to avoid paying taxes and/or impossible to do so.
