I met my future wife online in December 2020. I would have never met her if we had not crossed paths on a dating site, as she lived 85 miles away from me and most of her time was spent in the Chinese-American community in her hometown. I am very grateful for online dating. Most of those who think it is awful probably do not approach it properly and would rather blame the dating site than blame themselves (i. e., "butthurt.")

  @OlderAndWiser I was 22 when I first tried, and now I'm 46. I don't think anyone could help me with my approach. Also there is no women here to date! I used to look for them online, and they weren't there either. So I just learned to accept my fate.

  @OlderAndWiser I have learned that I have too many problems linked together in a chain. I was born with the foundation to these problems. They are most likely not even fixable. Some people succeed in this world and some don't. I don't.
