I DON'T WANT TO KILL ANYTHING, EVEN THE SMALLEST CREATURE, AND NOW IT SEEMS WE SEE IT EVERY DAY OF OUR LIVES?

How could I or anyone kill a helpless, unsuspecting, human being, in cold blood, for any political, social, personal reason? I could only kill, to save my own or someone else's life, and YET we see it happen time, after time, after time in our country and others on an every day basis. The thought of that, terrifies me about what is happening to our society, across the board, where the lives of others mean nothing to those that want to kill others for any reason.

Why are we having this kind of nightmare every day, and this kind of gruesome hate for everyone and and every thing?

My own deduction is that for the past 30 years people have been playing violent video games and I really believe that it kinda numbed their brains and they felt nothing hurtful playing the 🎮 games. It was the best thing you could do was to kill each other.
Then the violent blood and guts movies also add to believing that killing is the ultimate thing to do to people.
To say that violent video games and blood and guts movies don't penetrate a person's brain 🧠 well then I guess you could say that nothing else does either and we all learn all the time. There's nothing in a person's brain that blocks the violence from coming in and staying there.

Two years ago I made the decision to purchase firearms. I bought a shotgun and a handgun. I got a legal permit and I attended a week long training course. Now that I have learned how to shoot I feel safer in my home. However the idea of maybe having to kill somebody is not something that I am comfortable with. I tell myself that my job is to defend my family and home and I cannot depend on police to get here in time. I tell myself that I am not the first one to be put into this situation and if the time comes, i will know what to do.
