Doctors at Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) hospitals nationwide could refuse to treat unmarried veterans and Democrats under new hospital guidelines imposed following an executive order by Donald Trump, the same guy that made them put on a parade for his birthday - a parade that we paid for.

Frankly, this is disappointing and disgusting. As long as you are a Veteran seeking medical assistance in a VA Hospital then you deserve a right to be cared for, helped, and feel protected for your service.

Veterans do a Hell of a lot for Uncle Sam, Uncle Sam should do a Hell of a lot for them!

The crazy thing about this Trump adventure is that there’s SO MUCH bullshot that a lot of it gets lost in the wash. Like things I would have never forgotten about had anyone else done them, and probably would’ve tarnished their reputations with me on just one of Trump’s acts alone. It’s semi-impressive how often this guy dumbs the fuck out, lmao, almost daily. So it’s hundreds, if not a thousand-plus infractions by now with this guy. I could write an encyclopedia on all these things and still have forgotten 80% of it. And supremely evil villain and a hopelessly incompetent buffoon at the same time. Say what we will about him…there’s never been anyone else like him🤣

The big one that comes to mind, to answer your question, would be Project 2025. During his campaign, “I’ve never heard of it; I don’t know anything about it.” and his supporters backed him up, no WAY would Trump ever lie… Then Day One he’s going right down their checklist with his executive orders🙄

it is quite poorly written but what is come down to is that you can't refuse to care for a patient based on their race, gender, etc - all "protected characteristics". HOWEVER, you CAN refuse to care for a patient based on things that are not"protected" - like their politics or shoe size or whatever.
