Noam Chomsky is brilliant in linguistics, but politically? He’s become a caricature of the far-left academic bubble—someone who thinks Western civilization is the root of all evil, but excuses or downplays the atrocities of America’s enemies.

He’s not the “searing consciousness” of anything—he’s the poster boy for ivory tower elitism pretending to be anti-elitist. If he stuck to sentence structure and left geopolitics alone, his legacy wouldn’t be half as polarizing.

You can read 100 books and still be wrong. Chomsky proves that.

I respect his opposition of US Involvement in Vietnam War, I respect his approach to absolute Freedom of Speech even those denying The Holocaust even as a devoted Ashkenazi Jew himself, also being outspoken against President Richard Nixon’s political enemy list even after being arrested, etc.

He seems to have a colorful history spanning decades from him being the age of 96.
