Air superiority is one thing but for a regime change is civil war necessary or an invasion. Israel is not capable to invade Iran and US would be very stupid if they would do. Iranian regime is religious one and it's practically impossible that some kind of opposition could start an internal conflict against the ruling class.
At some point air superiority will be pointless, when there is no opposing force on the ground.

Hardly surprising. Does Iran even have an air force, still? Last time I checked, they had a handful of F-14s (as seen in the original 1986 Top Gun movie!), that they were just about managing to keep airworthy, despite the US trying to stop them getting their hands on any spare parts.

Israel has been getting military aid from the US and Western Europe for 75 years. Iran has been living under sanctions for 25 years. Israel benefits from US intelligence gathering and shares our C3I technology in the air. Iran has no such benefactor or domestic capability. Why is it surprising that Israel's air force is outgunning Iran's air force?

Not really. The Iranians have a weak military and all its neighbors hate them because they stir Islamic extremism in their countries. Israel has been given a free pass by Jordan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and others to blow thd shit out of Iran.

No. While I think it's pretty pathetic a large country like Iran can lose it to israel in a matter of days it does increase the risk of Iran doing something stupid like using nukes.
