Is Iran making Trump look weak?

Question

First, he's telling them to surrender unconditionally or else, now he's flip-flopping that he may or not do something. To all the world it looks like he's laid down his ultimatum and Irans called his bluff.

Once you make threats of that magnitude if you don't carry them out there's only one direction to go and that's backtrack.

Thing is once a leader does that he's viewed as weak. Especially in the middle East

I'm no fan of Iran but it does look like they're playing him as a fool. I reckon they're relying on his reputation as taco Trump, But will it work or backfire? Thoughts.

Iran started to enrich Uran more than 20 years ago. I would be surprised if Iran didn't have already enough weapon grade Uran-235 for few old fashioned nukes, a student of nuklear physics could build together with a guy who know how shaped explosives work.
For me there are three options. Iran doesn't have nukes because they are totally incompetent or they don't want nukes and use this Uran-235 as nuclear fuel for reactors. The last option is they have nukes already.
I all 3 cases starting this war was unnecessary and in case Iran has nuke even suicidal for Israel. Trump follows partially just orders of Zionist lobbies in US. However there is other lobby of weapon seller in US that sees Israel just as customer in need who needs to buy their products, it doesn't matter that this customer uses US taxpayers money. I am pretty sure Trump would with pleasure appease Israel lobby and send boots on Iran's soil for bloody and pointless ground conflict, but the weapon seller lobby isn't willing to lose lot of human resources which are necessary for much bigger conflict in eastern Asia.
I suppose appearing weak or strong doesn't matter of US, rather than appearing smart or stupid. Doing things Israel and chosen one's lobby in US want would be stupid. Trump's options are limited. I guess US will bomb those facilities when they know Iran doesn't have any missiles more for retaliation attacks on US bases.

Trump has Putin and Xi Jinping on his ass so I doubt he will start anything. It is about does he want to kill his citizens for something that has nothing to do with the US or just ignore it lol. Israel deserves what they get anyways, they shouldn't have started something with someone stronger. Plus they've been killing tons of Palestinians for years so they are getting what they deserve.

When considering Trump's actions you gotta look for the angle from which he benefits. Maybe an opportunity to grift, maybe a political boost or a distraction. So here in the US if you turn on Youtube you can't avoid seeing the non stop ads touting Israel's right to "pre-emptively" defend itself against the threat that Iran may one day develope a nuclear weapon, probably funded by AIPAC (haven't looked) the very influential pro Israel PAC (Miriam Adelson among others). Now I'm sure that they and Bebe would be willing to throw Trump a bone, say some newly vacated Gaza beachfront resort property? Other perks perhaps...
Now throw in all the political turmoil at home with the horrible bill he's trying to pass ro gouge Americans social safety net and blow another hole in the defecit to cut the wealthy's taxes, The whole tariff debacle, the protests... hell his DOJ is losing something like 96% of it's cases lately and EVERYbody and their dogs are suing...
He may well be thinking he'll get that wartime approval bump AND distract people from all the other stupidity he's committing even as he empties the countries wallet even further. I don't think he really gives a percentage of a fuck about getting embarrassed so long as he profits from it enough to make it worth it to him... of course if congress won't approve it would be an illegal war, but I doubt that would even slow him down if he decides to hit.

Just about every citizen of the United States knows, understands, and agrees that Iran cannot be allowed to possess any nuclear weapons. That's also Trump's position. However, simultaneously (and somewhat slightly conversely), just about every citizen of the United States also doesn't want to be involved with Iran, because we don't want Iran to become another "Iraq" and/or "Afghanistan" and/or "Vietnam" for us. Again, that's also Trump's position. If anything happens, it needs to be a "one and done" decisive 100% effective strike. That's the issue at hand, and that's why Trump and the National Security Council are taking their time making a decision.

One of the things that impresses me most about Drumpf is his track record for avoiding foreign conflict. Weakness isn’t shown when you refuse to rush into wars and cost thousands of young men and women their lives and livelihoods. That takes far greater strength than the alternative. Tearing apart families and countries doesn’t require strength. Any impulsive fool can do that. I’d much rather our commander in chief run his mouth and look like a fool than stoically send our kids into the meat grinder of war for his ego, or anyone else’s.

that's trump, he will push and posture. Iran may be calling his bluff. they likely would all die for their purpose and at some point, it becomes worthy to die to make the other suffer. that is the problem with the psychology, it's a dance. ya don't want to p#ss people off.

trump has backed off on other issues... court issues, etc... It's a double edged sword. He looks weak, or is he responsive to reality and voices of reason? You don't want leaders caught in an ego trap.

Id favor the flexible mind. that would have saved a lot of people before we attacked Iraq... if our leader had a flexible mind.

isreal seems to have suckered him into a fight and is egging him on. maybe it's gone both ways.

It was stupid of Trump to cancel the nuclear deal with Iran in 2018. He was stupid to give them an ultimatum. What country with any sense of honor at all would acquiesce to such a slap in the face?

And the reason Trump thought he could get away with it was precisely because Iran didn't have any nukes. The U. S. only picks on weaker countries. But, even without nukes, Iran is far from weak, as has been demonstrated by its retaliation against Israel's unprovoked attacks.
Iran has sophisticated defenses and weaponry. It has sophisticated electronic warfare systems. It is currently bombing the shit out of Israel's military infrastructure. Plus it has already shot down 4 Israeli top of the line F-35s.

I hope Trump takes the advice of his National Security Secretary Tulsi Gabbard and refrains from getting involved in Netanyahu's folly.
