On the one hand I'm OK with tightening up birthright citizenship requirements. The Reich Wing is right about this one. Illegal immigrants have found and exploited this loophole in our open society. You shouldn't be able to swim the Rio Grande at 38 weeks pregnant, burp out a baby on the Texas side of the river, and claim anchor baby protections. That IS NOT the intention of birthright citizenship. Enough of this bullshit!

On the other hand, tRump has no power to unilaterally alter the Constitution. That is clearly the power of Congress. It has to go through the House and Senate as a amendment to the Constitution and be voted on by the legislative branch to be legal.

What would you do if you were to go on vacation for a lengthy time. When you came home. You find 5 or 10 uninvited women in your home that had given birth. While you were away. In your residence. Would you allow them to stay and provide for them. Or would you ask them to leave!

I personally thought it was better for the economy when the borer was lax, such as in cali 80's and before. US would go to Mexico for instance for cheaper quality healthcare and Mexicans came to US for cheaper tv's, jeans and such for day trips. It's only when you tighten stuff down that people want to stay in another country.

Step further away from the topic.. It's like drugs. Make them legal and you take away the profit for the criminals. Course you take away the profit for the ultra rich too.. such as sex. Which is why they really want tight borders.
