The old trope if men growing up and "spreading their seed" is a well established behaviour used to shame men into denying their carnal desires and true freedom of existence that's founded on the natural desires of living beings to reproduce. However, the ruling classes decided to impressed (by shame and criminality) on men that they should stick to a single woman and forsake all others and their natural urges to form bonded pairs in spite of the potential of them not being guaranteed to be the father of any offspring produced in this holy but unnatural bonding ritual.

Is it time for modern society to do away with paternity support and place women wholy in charge of their reproduction desires?

Neither is correct. If we look in nature then we can see all kinds of relationships and social structures because they are all beneficial in their own way. This includes looking at close human ancestors.

Humanity is not evolved to be either one or the other but a mixture of both to try gain the benefit of both although I would say that we are more leaning towards the monogamy side of things. Species that leans more towards the polyamory side of things such as salmon often copulate as a group or otherwise have multiple males contribute sperm to a single woman. Humans however has evolved to reproduce with only a pair during copulation.

Furthermore, due to the long nursing and childhood period of humans we are encouraged to maintain close family ties for a very long time and raise the children personally.

There are of course also aspects of human evolution and culture that points towards a polyamory living but they are fewer.

So yeah.. This is more complicated than you give it credit and does not play into your incel world beliefs and opinions.

DNA testing is nothing to do with monogamy.
It's better for children but that's nothing to do with better for men which is tge question.

Well, obviously monogamy is better for at least most men- they can keep a partner and be pretty sure about the paternity of their kids. The only men that don’t benefit from monogamy are ones who can get large numbers of women to have sex with them and don’t want to give their kids high paternal investment.

Thing is, these days women tend to get bored and commitment ends.
Also what makes a man "lucky" if a woman commits? He has to still work, do housework, cook, raise children, house maintenance etc., for himself and the others. It's like being an adult with responsibility for others added.

Everyone has those adult responsibilities (some people simply ignore them or pass them off on others), and what I said was correct. For most people, if you want a partner, you can find one. They may not be optimal, and if you’d prefer to play the field, you can do that too, although I suspect most people would get sick of messing around with seriously flawed people.
