People of GAG, How do you deal with Scammers that call in and threaten legal action?

This morning they called in from an NY number.. Obviously a spoof/fake.. They called in with incorrect name and last four of social. so i advised them of the fact that they are violating the FDCA (fair debt collection act). They proceeded to cuss me out, all recorded by the way. So after i got off of the phone with them, i used a legally questionable device to flood their call center over the number they used. Every single call in that got answered had someone screaming "goat fu**er" and hanging up. Within an hour they disconnected the number i was using.. If nothing else it was entertaining.

I generally ask the caller if his grandmother is proud of him for committing fraud every day. Then I ask for their location so I can come have a personal conversation with them.

How did you get their real #? All mine are spoofed.

I just ignore all random calls. If its important they'll leave a voicemail or text me

nothing wrong with that.. But in my field of work i find my self bored at times, like this week so i feel like bullying some scammers.

Its the same with me. I am also occasionally on call. Usually for two weeks at a time. It sucks. But it takes care of our home and my wife. So i won't complain.

I got really fed up today. I got them to tell me they were in Cleveland. They obviously had a foreign accent so I told him I was calling ICE to get him deported. He hung up.
