Why is the Epstein list suddenly so important to the left?

Because they were brainwashed by the media to chase documents that are statutorily protected as a distraction. The Democrat leadership knows that Trump can't declassify what they are requesting without jumping through a bunch of legal hoops. The Democrats are the ones that created the hoops when they were in office (Obama/Biden) to block Trump from releasing those portions of the documents. They took portions of the Epstein files and put them behind a bunch of walls and booby traps to tie up Trumps attempts to release them to the public so that they could claim that Trump doesn't want to release them because he's on the list. They then proceed to destroy a number of documents that relate to that case. They want a wild goose chase to waste Trumps time and hopefully get him to fall into a legal trap that can be used to prosecute him.

Trump wants the Epstein files released. Trump is pretty much Epstein's biggest enemy.

2005: Trump bans Epstein from all Trump properties for hitting on underaged girl.

2006: Epstein arrested in FL after Trump helped victims go after Epstein.

2008: Epstein convicted on minimal charges and 18 month sentence from Bush-appointed judge and let off the hook by Clinton-allied FBI.

2008-2016: Obama and the Dems did absolutely nothing about Epstein. The media didn’t touch it. It was a “conspiracy theory”.

2017: Less than 3 weeks after inauguration, Trump signs EO 13773, targeting “Transnational criminal organizations and preventing criminal trafficking”. It was one of the first things Trump did as POTUS. Trump targeted not just Epstein’s operation, but others like it around the world.

2019: Trump’s DOJ arrests Epstein, seizes his island, throws him in jail for crimes against children.

2020: Trump’s DOJ arrests Maxwell, throws her in jail for crimes against children.

2021-2024: Dems under Biden don’t say a word about Epstein.

So what Trump will do is go to the criminal grand juries to get the information in a roundabout way for release. He will expose how Democrat appointed officials destroyed documents on the case. He will create political pressure by driving public sentiment to demand the release of the documents. In the end the people will learn what happened and the Democrats and RINOs will fight it every step of the way because they are the Protectors of the Pedophiles.
