Why did ex block me after I deleted him as a friend?

my ex lied to me so I broke up with him. I then deleted him as a friend on Facebook. after that, he blocked me. why would he do that if he could no longer see my news feed? once I had deleted him as friend it surely was not necessary to block me to ensure he was out of touch with my life?

he's not going to tell people you deleted him...hes going to tell people he blocked you.

But uhm you shouldn't care...its should be over and done with you deleted him the end...who cares whether he blocked you or even tried to add you again.

My ex did the same. He was an a**hole. I removed him off Facebook and then he blocked me. It might be because his ego took a hit when you removed him so he blocked you to say that you know, HE blocked YOU.

He was hurt that you unfriended him , so he wanted to backfire and hurt you too.
