Why Did My Ex Best Friend Unblock Me?

My best friend and I had a fight for like a year and then I reached out to make up. Long story short, we made up for a few months but she was extremely passive aggressive towards me. I ghosted her as she knew I was in a dark place and it wasn't in me to deal with this.

Anyways she called me and blew up my phone with text messages - again they were very nasty messages but decorated with nice words. Being passive aggressive again...

I continued to ghost her so she blocked me.

It's been a couple of months since and she just unblocked me (lol). Why do you think she unblocked me?

Do you think she realised she was in the wrong (and actually I was a good friend in a very dark place, and she just made it worse for me?)

Does she expect me to message her again? (Not gonna happen).

Long time no post, I have a friend like her.
Not passive agressive but will be directly agressive with me. Then acts the same way blocking and unblocking. Honestly, she's trying to make herself feel better ny using you as a punching bag. What does she do for a living? I have a theory that she sees you doing better than her in life so she tries to bring you down. My "friend" is the same way. I block her and she blows up my phone with phone calls. If that doesn't work she will change her number, she has done it like 6 times. My "friend" is toxic, I isolate her with minimum energy. I would recommend doing the same thing. She knows you were in a "dark" place or was too narcissistic to care. Also, think about it this way, if a stranger comes to you and says something dumb. Like you have big hands, you ignore it, they are being a child and trying to get a rise out of you. Your demon, is doing the same thing, the difference is she has once made you think she was your friend, so the jabs hurt more. I am more curious to learn about you, are you a legal advisor, attorney, or what is the chosen field?

So, instead of improving herself she tries to act like you're not better than her. Keep your chin up, you have a lot to be proud of.

You can only know if she tells you why she unblocked you or if you ask her. It seems like doing the latter risks introducing negativity into your life. Just try to ignore it so as to avoid letting it take up any emotional energy.
