“The Battle of the Sexes” has been going for decades, with no signs of slowing down. Now it’s even invading fun and educational programming. Ugh!
Must be that everyone is in on it. So, the question is as follows. Are you doing more to bring males and females together? Or are you doing more to keep them apart?

I'm a heterosexual male and I'm a strong believer of equal rights between the sexes, if we are to have suitable relationships for family life.

Females have been very badly treated in the past, and in some countries they still are, for example they are refused an education, restrictions in movement, and dress codes, and treated as inferior people.

No wonder there is a Battle of the Sexes.

I think if society is to move forward we need a uniting of the sexes, not building barriers between us, and I try to mediate a peace treaty when I come across hostility from the sexes.

In my surroundings, where I have some agency possible, I see no grandiloquent “Battle of the Sexes” raging.

There is this occasional friction between old gen & new gen I might say, which may look like about genders. But it's not. It's quite simply solved with common reflexes such as "let grandpa speak, don't smirk too much, no need to confront him because grandpa is from another time, it's forgivable"

I wrote a paper in college for a class and got it published in several journals that showed that men and women are actually more similar and just like racial differences, gender roles and beliefs are societally taught.
