A New Yorker? He isn’t even an American the way he acts.

Poking in the eyes of our allies overseas , demanding thanks for threats and flip flop behavior , being as committed to his campaign promises and everyday Americans as he is to his own wives (cheated on her and was found guilty on committing crimes to cover it up) , not knowing what transparency or accountability means in relation to The Epstein Files , and an overall asshole who throws tantrums online when he doesn’t get what he wants all the time boohoo.

Though , we can make a comparison to Boss Tweed of Tammany Hall who was a New Yorker politician who exploited his position. Corrupt , fat , easily the center of a conspiracy. If this guy was around today , he would envy Trump because instead of ending up in a jail cell he won the Oval Office even after selling NFTs of his greatly exaggerated life style , enriching himself from LIV Golf Deals with Saudi Arabia thanks to first term , hosting world leaders in Trump Tower just to charge them violating Emoluments Clause , selling Sneakers , selling Watches , selling Guitars , etc.

Americans know the truth by the day and his base aren’t fools, they are waking up in droves.

OK, so technically tRump is a Gnu Yawker. I mean his family has been there for a long time. He was born there. He grew up there. He's never lived anywhere else unless you count the Mar A Lago criminal HQ.

But tRump is a typical New Yorker like ted Bundy is a typical man. Or Prince Andrew has typical sexual appetites. Yeah he's got a weird shaped dick and 2 balls. He's also a malignant narcissist, a sociopath, extremely insecure, vindictive, jealous, dumber than a bag of rocks, a coward, a pathological liar, a misogynist, and said he wants to fuck his own daughter on TV and radio.

tRump is not a New Yorker. He's barely human. He's a genetic mistake. I ended up in New York late in life. And I heard all the stereotypes. The truth is New Yorkers are pretty nice, fun loving people, who will help out someone in need. Any of that sound like Cheeto Jesus?

He has been living in New York for a great amount of time before taking the presidency so in actuality he fits the term New Yorker. He was also born in Queens New York to a successful real estate developer and business man known as Fred Trump. So honestly there's no denying he wasn't raised in the country side or more humble beginnings. His father was sure that trump would have a successful upbringing in the least.

But I can't say whether he's a new Yorker or not a New yorker seeing as how I never lived in New York lol but just going by the facts. Trump is as much of a new yorker as the rats on their sidewalks. However after being president, Does trump seem to sympathize and genuinely work with New York leaders despite them being democrat? Has yet to be seen now a days
But overall trump used to be a new Yorker before entering office. Currently it's just not as noticeable now.

He's an NY elitist. He's not an average New Yorker. Growing up here my entire life he was considered an absolute joke, adulterer, listen to any of his Howard Stern appearance, terrible business man, doesn't pay his contractors, and thinks he's above everything.

In 1991 before I understood politics, I kept seeing him in the news. He was a clown. Even at 12 I knew he was a joke and a terrible person.

Seen from overseas, a New Yorker to me is simply a resident of NYC, which must have a lot of cultural implications I don't feel qualified about lol. I have been serious and this is the extent of my thoughtfulness on the matter

It's funny that you say this because people here in our country probably think the same thing about New Yorkers. To be fair to the entire state, we're all New Yorkers. It's a very diverse state made up of rural, Suburban, and urban areas. NYC gets all the attention because it's NYC, yet we have an amazingly beautiful state filled with a lot of great people. I love the people everywhere here.

You're so right, a part of me knows that NY is a state, yes, but I almost always forget that. Because of the sheer amount of US movies and shows exported to our TV channels. They kept showing me NYC, NYC , NYC, NYC. Ad nauseam.

To the point where, while looking at the words New York, I see NYC. And what I see is gigantic towers, atrocious smell, yellow cabs, gunfights, sound of the police, random and frequent murders because why not. Homeless guys around a barrel. And bankers in suits. And that's it.

I'm sure there is more to see than what I see. But I can't help it, what I see is so engraved, after kilotons of US media imported & fed to me, to us. By the USA.

Everything you said makes total sense lol. I get it completely. Some stereotypes are true but there's a lot of great parts to NYC and the entire state is just beautiful. Niagara falls borders Canada. They get the iconic view but even from our side of the falls it's amazing.
