Should France invade Iran to release prisoners?

This would be very risky operation, because Iran is a huge country and Iranian security services would have time to react. Iran is full of dust and hills, both things Helicopters don't like.
I guess some cow trade with Iran behind the curtains is better option.
No one will invade another country because of two prisoners.

France does not have the power projection capability needed to invade iran or launch a hostage rescue operation.

France will probably give the Iranians something they want or money.

they could do a trade with USA for some nuclear ability. USA hasn't built a reactor in... ugh... forever.

France is nuclear power. Has a nuclear powered navy and balistic missiles. They are just like Britain a former colonial power that's faded over time post ww2. However if they choose they should build the necessary capability to invade iran but it would take time, a decade maybe.

No one will invade Iran. This country be a death trap for modern armies. It's a hot, dry with hill and mountens covered terrain. Special operation could be possible but commiting a special operation on others country territorium is a war act. Using some local agents and mercenaries is probably impossible due complexity of this operation.
Arabs and Persians are naturally born negotiators, you have to negotiate with them in such cases and it will be much cheaper to get those two, probably agents. With money everything is possible and a military operation or Special force operation cost much more than a deal.
