Would Americans support a draft or nuclear strikes to force Iran to surrender?

The USA can bomb Iran until ten million Iranians are killed or starve and Iran looks like Gaza. However, just like what happened Vietnam, that will not result in Iran unconditionally surrendering. To get Iran to surrender, the USA has two choices: Invade Iran with at least a million troops that we don't have without the draft, or else, drop ten nuclear bombs on Iran.

Or we can do what we've being for decades. Sure, they can initiate the draft. The last draft the US had was the Korean War and they only drafted 8-9% of eligible draftees. This war, and pretty much every war in the Middle East since the 90s, would have required a fraction of a percent of that. That is how efficient and how good the US has become at fighting urban warfare and minimizing collateral damage. They're over there to make sure all the oil gets pumped dry and that oppressive regimes don't use that money to keep themselves in power oppressing others as well as destroying any infrastructure built by foreign developers to bring in said oil. Once the oil is gone and/or the world is weened off it, they will fade into obscurity once their economy collapses back to pre-oil producing levels. They'll be like Russia where they won't get the attention on the world stage like they used to. During the Cold War, there were a lot of lies that went around and when the "dust" finally settled, they found out that the US smashed the Soviet Unions wartime production. Yes, the last draft ended in Vietnam. Again, they only drafted a fraction of eligible draftees and it would require a fraction of that to fight in Iran. If you listened to military debriefings about what is going on over there, there military prides themselves at their long range capabilities and their minimal casualties.

I don't feel it necessary to bring up the opinion of how the Viet Nam War was a failure. It's not constructive nor do I agree with it from a military standpoint. I think the same. If they launched a ground invasion, the U. S. would suffer massive military casualties, and they likely wouldn’t be willing to take that risk.
