To defeat Iran, should the USA have a draft to have enough troops on the ground, even if the cost is $Trillions and 100,000 dead American soldiers?

Therefore, we're going to launch, I would imagine, air strikes involving primarily B2, B1 bombers, delivering very devastating precise munitions ostensibly to destroy uh the underground facilities that the Iranians have.

The problem with all of this is air and naval power does not win wars. It never has. Secondly, it's assuming that Iran is weak and already in a state of disarray. The opposite is the case.

It will be worse than Vietnam. At that time, the population of Vietnam was 38 million vs 90 million in Iran, and Iran has three times the area. Moreover, for an attack you need 3:1 superiority. Initially, the USA will have that ratio. However, Iran will be fighting for its life and will soon match or exceed the number of military personnel. Furthermore, our soft military personnel are not the double-tough fighters we had in WW2 or even in Vietnam. However, the Iranians will be double-tough, and Iran will be willing to lose 10 million. That is 100 times what the USA can lose before the people demand a pullout and vote out politicians who don't end the war.
