- What is the goal of this war politically?
- What will China and Russia do, since it's their ally?
- What will a conflict change in Iran?
- What will US gain?
- How to defend Israel's cities when we know Iranian hyper sonic missiles can't be intercepted with iron dome?
- what if Iran uses thermonuclear warheads in those hyper sonic missiles?
- is US willing to retaliate with nuclear weapons?
- what will happen with oil infrastructure in Saudi Arabia close to the shore, while we know Iran has cruise missiles capable to attack those targets?
- what happens with ship traffic strategic Persian gulf strait?
...

With common sense and logic, this conflict is unwinnable for US. Unless US goal is to rise oil prices, destroy Israel and probably to start hot conflict with BRICS.

They are very dangerous and not stable people (unfortunately much like our current government) and I think it would be very dangerous should they be able to make and have nuclear weapons, so yes if that is what it would take to curtail that then go blow that useless country to hell. Hard part might be getting any support from what use to be good allies and friends before this demented thug of ours has ruined most of that currently. If we were luck Iran would at least get one good retaliatory strike at us and maybe take out current white house and thugs.

Iran's Hezbollah and now Hamas has joined forces together in Southern Lebanon. They choose Southern Lebanon because they can use military force to Israel because Israel is in the direct line from them to continue the war with Israel and they are a reachable target for Hezbollah and now Hamas.
The Lebanese people want Hezbollah and Hamas to get the hell out of their country but even after the 60 day ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah, Hezbollah refuses to leave Lebanon. They have built underground tunnels and ride motorcycles to get around.
Hezbollah scoffed at the 60 day ceasefire. Those 60 days was the time given for Hezbollah to get out of Lebanon but they just ignored the ceasefire agreement and continued with fighting as usual.

The don't have nuclear weapons yet, but they do have enriched nuclear material and nuclear power plants. They've made it public that they have the means to make a nuke, but they don't have one yet at least not an operational one they know how to use. No, they weren't no nukes were bought, Iran received help with their nuclear program from Russia as well as nuclear material, but they gave no nukes.

1. Nukes are incredibly expensive, and Russia and NK would never ever part with even 1 because they need them more. These are multi-million-dollar missiles with an upkeep of millions more.

2. NK barely has any nukes and the ones they have are basically the nuclear equivalent of erectile dysfunction.

3. Iran has openly stated they don't have a nuke yet but they are getting close which they have no incentive to do and in fact if they had nukes they'd be waving them around in a panic right now in response to what Trump is doing because those are the only way they could ever possibly scare us.

4. Iran couldn't afford to buy nukes from NK or Russia. They're entire countries GDP is 404.6 billion USD we spend 634 billion dollars a year just to maintain our own nuclear arsenal. Nobody is selling nukes to Iran. THey either need them themselves or don't want the smoke that comes with it.

5. They also don't have an intercontinental delivery system yet. Having a nuke and being able to fire it are not the same thing so even if they did have nukes which they don't we still need to hit them now before they can find a way to use them.
