No. Bombing military bases filled with forced conscripts who hate the regime too isn't useful. Precision strikes on outpost of religious police inside cities could eliminate some assholes but, collateral damages on civilians will be high.
Of course Trump as Israel's bitch could order strikes on infrastructure, like new railroad connection between Iran and China or Iranian rocket program facilities, but does it help opposition in Iran? Destroying Chinese infrastructure in Iran will likely lead to exclusion of US from rare earths.

It's simple, you can't change a regime just from air. Iran isn't Venezuela and Iranian police and army in higher ranks is loyal to the regime.

Im not from the USA. It matter as its about resources. Who is funding these operations, how are they being funded and who is putting their life on the line to fulfill these operations. Its the citizens that pay a price on both sides. Regardless of a region being so far away doesn't mean it doesn't affect others. Taxes paying for all of that. If US taxes dollars are being used abroad to the point where you said they dont pose a threat then how do tax payers respond when their lives could have been benefited more at home for a political agenda else where

It will not affect Russia and China as much as they are already very powerful, but at the same time that is why I said some other countries might be interested in iran as well. I was mostly referring to them. So if the west grabs one part then Russia and China has to have the upper hand in other countries.

Also, as a Catholic, I am a Person of the Book for them, meaning they cannot hurt me according to their beliefs. With regards to American interests it may seem far fetched being so far away from the point in question, but missiles travel far, and it is a sound military strategy to take care of a treat before it becomes reality. I am talking about iran developing nuclear warheads. That alone is reason enough to attack them militarily.
