From my experience and that of other academics who have reviewed psychology research, the conclusion reached through analysis is that more often than not psychology studies are wrong. The field in general is a pseudoscience. I expressed that by questioning the research and providing a study that backs up my claim. I didn’t target you. Rather than connect with what I said and try to understand my position, you resorted to personal attacks due to your sadistic nature. You neither have the ability to understand other people’s experiences or feelings nor do you have the interpersonal skills to communicate with humans in a civil way. I can't say if it is. He sabotaged the peace dealings between Ukraine and Russia by wilfully changing the deal the the day of signing it in. Calling that an attempt to mediate is dishonest.

The immigrants comment is... lacking. I see your point but that would require a more streamlined method of entering legally. Not just reworking Biden's exact agreement.

As for trans and alike the only thing he has legally done is to make certain slurs not legally count as degrading. He did attempt to write a rule on how to interpret gender but forgot what sex and conception is. A publicity stunt in other words or he'd have revisited it with proper language. Its literally five minutes to fix.

He did indeed make suggestions that complicates gender affirming care. It should probably be noted that none of these help the children. It isn't as if he added a mandatory psychiatrist counseling, therapy or alike. He just said "Nah", and wrote an ineffective law.

So honestly. Involving himself in and stopping peace of wars. Hunting immigrants. Attacking transpeople and children. If this is the claim to fame, he really hasn't done anything to help anyone. Please note that even if we agreed on these issues he is not Helping anyone. He is making it harder for a targeted group, never helping that group.

@Effably easier to talk through all this, which isn't worth the time here... I've done same with family and friends and we resolved it amicably... but noone shifts viewpoints. The posters question is a striking one... not good to be cold hearted to others. I'm working on having more care. For what it's worth, I'm traveling and have had nothing but great conversations with people. They were handled gingerly, but we were all peaceful and considerate. you have been as well, just saying, if individuals communicate and get along, then the threat posed by the posters question... hopefully does not turn into something worse.

I do completely disagree with the notion. He is self-serving scum but figured even a broken clock would be right twice a term.

For what it is worth I also did respond without bias. He, whether there are beneficiaries or not, has not taken any action where the action was meant to help. It is not how he operates.

@Effably If someone wanted to take on the issues he's taking, don't know what other paths he could take. These issues are complex, he took the path he learned. I think many others would get their hands and decisions tied up in the complexity. Bident got stuck in the the student loan issue as example.

He certainly took the position as a final solute in his life of ego, no question. But he didn't have to do it, waited a long time. My view and others... he saw and understood the mess and attempted to fix it. From the food and pharma system to education and overpowering of LGBx, he's swinging at every issue, and many agree with him. He is posibly excessive in areas, the drawback to his personality.

He did nothing useful to help the war. In fact, he ruined any chance of peace by literally changing the deal the night before it would be signed. Removing any assurances and turning it into a trust me bro, agreement with extortion on top. Of course it broke.

You say he did things for immigration but he literally renegotiated the same deal with Mexico that Biden already made.

He does not know what a tariff is. I say this as someone who mastered in finance. Donald Trump knows as much about economy as I do about your sex life. I promise you I am being fair. He just is that incompetent.

Even LGBT issues where he can oppose someone he did not swing at. I am glad he did not, but all he did was shout a little. Write a low about sex at conception. There is no gendet at conception, that's when you breathe out and cuddle up after sex, not when a baby is formed. He got told that. If he cared, he'd fix it. But the distraction does not require caring, just shouting. So he did not.

He says he'll lower prices but the only price he has lowered is gas. And the only reason, and I promise you this too because studying these things is my literal life and job and I did not barely handle a real estate education like Trump, the only reason that price is down is because it drives the economy and production is at an all time low because he's clueless and harming it.

I really hope you will distance yourself from it emotionally. Look at what he says, does and the result, and realize he is not good for you. Words lie, outcomes do not. Did he not just lie about a deal with Europe for example? Biggest trade deal ever. In reality? They agreed to talk, that's it. That is all that happened. He lies and does nothing.

@Effably I have and will attempt to see the other side. I've stated disagreement with some of his decisions, behaviors and in the past, did not vote for him due to behavior.
I won't address all this, done this before, waste of time. But on Ukraine, of what I've heard, the bumbling and causes of this fall on the western side during Biden admin and prior in the Minsk accords... trump wasn't involved there. In terms of ending it once started, I don't know of anyone that got close. When did he nix a peace deal? never heard that. As well my view from early on... Putin won't stop til gets control of most of Ukraine. I think that holds true today, not going to stop, it's a security issue. Others (on the left) bantered with in the past, see the issue differently.
I do not claim to be an expert or even close in the complex dynamic of this region.

On tariffs... and in general, not sure what he understands fully, a lot of things he doesn't... but whom does? I hear reports for once in a long time of a positive trade balance. I only recall hearing under Biden and other admins of continuing trade deficits. I'm not sure this difference in perspective can be resolved in discussion. Even when people post 'facts' in the past, they can be right vs left articulated. Truth is a real challenge anymore... limited by the search filters.
I'll let it rest there and won't challenge your response. I'll go back to enjoying my vaca and striving to understand France...

For the Ukraine and Russia thing. Do you remember the whole public negotation stunt? Putin and Zelensky were both there and meant to sign a peace deal. They Both agreed. The deal was basically that Ukraine surrenders. Russia gets a bunch of territory and resources and USA gets a bunch of resources. A deal the entire world viewed as unfair but it would end it. In return for USA getting paid a lot, they would then act as the guarantee for the deal. This was done. Finished. Agreed on. Trump was about to get his win. Seriously.

And then Trump changed it hours before the signing. He increased USA's payment, gave more to Russia and removed the clause where USA is obligated to step in if peace is violated. However USA would still keep their payment, in exchange for nothing.

Obviously Ukraine could no longer agree. They would pay it off for generations and get nothing in return. Trump outright sabotaged peace.

I understand tariffs. Most of everyone with even a bachelor degree in economics understand tariffs. That is why the whole world avoids them, they're a pretty bad form of tax. There are many better options, such as VAT.

A trade deficit is not bad or scary. It just means more is traded in one direction than the other. In terms of money I have a trade deficit to my local grocery store. My employer has a trade deficit towards me. And we are all okay with it. I get groceries that are worth more to me than the money. My employer gets work that is worth more to them than money. Attacking a trade deficit is silly. It is basically me going to the grocery store and demanding they hire me, even though I get paid severa times more doing my normal job.

Similarly USA has a large trade deficit because od the same reason. It is cheaper to import raw or lightly processed goods and then you guys do the final parts of the job that is worth most. I assure you Trump could not explain even this much.
