It is an unfortunate truth that more males are sexual offenders than females. Doesn't mean females do not sexually offend, but the numbers are low.

I think prejudice against male caregivers for young children has some basis in fact. But I would certainly get recommendations from children's hospitals, parenting centers, parents and your children's doctor to get the best outcome for your children.

Misandry is an across the board prejudice against all men in all situations. Caution is the better part of valor in this instance.

I think anyone would prefer that the nanny is a female, who cares about political correctness when there are children involved? If we go by statistics, it's just better to be as careful as possible. I think most men would agree and prefer a female nanny for their kids too.
