How common are men with long hair (longer than shoulder length) in your country?

At a hindsight, when I think of my highschool years, I realize that my school had a lot of dudes with long hair (longer than shoulder length) for whatever reason. There were like 50 of them lol. And it wasn't related to music scenes like rock or heavy metal, it was just guys that just randomly had very long hair. When I went to the university, I also noticed a substantial amount of guys with long hair.

I wouldn't say it's the norm here but it is common enough to be noticable and people generally don't have a problem with it.

My son, who's going to be 30 this year, has hair past his shoulder that his puts up in a ponytail or manbun. We're in US and I think it's accepted just about everywhere, but it might be limited in certain occupations.

If he was in a board room of a straight company, such as a bank, not sure that would fly.

I dont know where u are from but I don't think I ever been to any countries in the world where 50% of the male population have long hair.

America , if you go further west more men hav log hair it’s part of surfer and hippie culture here

Not particularly popular other than with some older guys that were hippies in the 60s and 70s, or that have stopped caring about their appearance. Some athletes and actors wear their hair long.

Not super common in my country but not that uncommon, and in my industry you see a lot of guys with long hair and beards.

Very few. The authoritarian fascist stormtrooper cut is now very popular in the US. The sides of the head are buzzed, and the top is longer and greasy.

Probably 10% at most. "Professional" employers are the biggest hurdle to fashion.

Rather common, and boy buns are ubiquitous.(My 27-year-old great-nephew sports a beard and boy bun).
