It is fine in a vacuum. I find in reality someone needs to discuss others to keep people held respknsible and guarantee safety for all. Following safety people need to discuss events to coordinate efforts. After which we can focus on ideas to direct all of it into a future of our choosing.

I am happy to just blindly agree as my variant of smalltalk is always ideas. But I can certainly see the need for all of it. So yes, I agree but it is unfair to the service done to enable said great minds to enjoy the luxury of their discussion in the first place.

LOL, it's a bullshit assertion. Often you WILL be talking about others and/or your interactions with them.

Doesn't automatically mean you are gossiping.

I think that's not a great statement. You need to discuss all things to be well-rounded. Sometimes that will be people, sometimes that will be events and sometimes that will be ideas.

I don’t like talking about other people. If I have… it’s very very minimum and move on to discuss ideas.
I also would like to implement one or 2 of my ideas soon.
