I totally agree with what you state, in the past there have been presidents i hadn't cared for but they were legally elected by "the people" and the office , if not , in my mindthe person was entitled to its due respect. (also I have not missed voting for a president since turning 18.)
Perhaps Im growing senile, I'd like to say i don't listen to either of the parties campaign ptomises, at my age its come to sound a lot like the old Charlie brown cartoons , when the parents were talking it was just the sound of a horn playing.
I can't believe what is going on with our country, I try to disregard all the "authorities " opinions on the internet but its difficult to disassociate the chatter and if I am going senile ( or whatever) then maybe I haven't been successful at tuning out the gibberish. That would actually explain a lot of the crap cluttering my head now.
