I would like to add something more constructive about The Capitalist System we reside in if you allow me to be so frank, it has been and will always be ‘the elites’.

“Trump and his people” implies that this is a new thing dreamt up by MAGA when in reality it is The Elites / corporate entities that have been shoveling their propaganda towards Republicans to deflect any blame , valid criticism , or question to their agenda.

This is in the same fashion as Apple giving millions towards BLM, The Trevor Project, and more. Same fashion as Tesla giving “we are helping the environment with Electric Cars” , same as Bill Gates “removing Co2 from atmosphere” or “wanting to give his billions to charities instead of his own children”.

The rich and powerful use that as deflections so, The Left doesn’t question their rise to power and they are now doing it for The Right. I figured this before Trump took office a second time, though no one listens especially not now. As The Left woke up to the machine they fed into just as everyone else, now Republicans in form of MAGA deflect and praise it because it is “on their side” when Elites and Corporate Billionaires aren’t on anyone’s side. Their side is wealth and power, anyway they can achieve that they will grasp in their hands.

MAGA and The Democrats need to come together and uplift their working class , not by cheering or buying mindlessly to companies that pretend to care, but by taking their country back through lawful elections. Vote for those that don’t praise the corporate elites and will uplift people, start through local small elections, Mamdani is a good example and we’ll see if he actually leads the charge because I’m sure he’ll make a great President.

"Getting it back" to what and where is the question. If you're hoping for a semblance of humane treatment for all citizens to return, and the demolition of authoritarianism, it will take be a massive undertaking.

The legal way would require ousting the GOP from control in Congress during the mid-terms. If the Dems controlled both Houses of Congress, they could shut down everything including Executive orders. However, if you wanted to see REAL change, the Dems would need a landslide both on the Federal and State levels in order to reverse laws already in place. They would need to impeach certain judges on the SCOTUS, particularly Scalia and Thomas who are very vulnerable, and possibly Roberts. If that didn't work, the Dems would need to win the Presidency in 2028 and maintain control of both houses.

Violence, as always, is a dangerous course. But people are going to reach a PONR where they believe there's nothing left to lose and would rather die than live in a Nazi-like country. Trump, or Vance, would have absolutely no qualms about setting the military loose on US citizens. They will proclaim all protesters and violent participants to be " Domestic Terrorists set out to destroy America", and it will become "you vs them".

The other option is that somehow, some way, the GOP sycophants stop their insanity and reject the oligarchs taking full power, reverting instead to the former Capitalist illusion preferred by the populace. While you recognized it was bad before, and income disparity was at its height, it's easily much worse now to the point where the former bad seems good.

I don't know why you want it either because you're going to be destroyed along with it, your job, your neighborhood, your friends, your money, your house, your family, your freedom and your life, ALL OF IT WILL BE GONE under Democrat rule. You are going to be a slave of the government. Just look at the past 4 years, that's all they were doing. They put a senile man into office and ran the country entirely without our permission, all so you could have trans men running in high school girl races and think that was the way to happiness.

They've already announced many times over the past 50 years this is what their end game is. Look at California, it's almost all gone. Companies are leaving every day by the thousands. The only ones left are the super-rich, the homeless people and the illegal immigrants. New York will be gone when they put that communist maniac into office. You think Cynthia Nixon is going to shop at a government grocery store?

You're not one of the party elites who will benefit from their destruction of everything that once made America great. Look at the Soviet Union in the 20th century, HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of middle class everyday citizens were killed, and hundreds of millions more imprisoned in slave labor camps.
