She refused to sign a permission slip to allow Texas law enforcement to escort her out. She is one of the democrats who left the state and prevented Republicans to pass the gerrymander maps. They came back today (all the democrats who had left) and now Texas law enforcement is enquiring them to sign these slips, not just off the House Floor, but the Texas state capital. She is stating strong and refused, and they are not allowing her to leave. She is being held there.

This is not on the national news, is it? This news needs to be spread.

First of all, you said this was not on the national. And yet I've seen it on the national news about 60 times.

So 50 Democrats fled the state to avoid doing their job and voting. Then the 50 Democrats came back to Texas, and somehow only one of them is being held hostage at the capitol.
The other 49 went home to go about their lives.
Do you think she wanted to stay in the capitol, or do you think she's being forced to stay there.
The last I heard, six of her colleagues left the comfort of their homes to go back and be a hostage with her.

Yes, Nicole had other Democrats join her. They stand together, unlike your Reps who only stand like an army with Trump Aline and not the rest of the US. The Reps have argued among themselves plenty enough before. And there are plenty of crooked ones, more so than the Dems. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Jim Jordan, and many others including the felon-in- chief.

Why are they wanting you do this and redisdistrict Texas? So that they can have more seats in the Senate to flip over in 2026. They are desperately trying all they can to keep the House.
