It's logically a great outcome. Just humans are emotional and see that thinking it's bad.
1st. AI is going to replace most jobs so we don't need more people to be raised to have no job.
2nd. Life expectancy will go up as it already has and people retire later, meaning again we don't need young people with no job. Also we need to level out birthrate with life expectancy.
3rd. Less people to sustain when we eventually hit a Universal income system.
4th. Less reason to have war, and need for new homes, and more resources.
And so many more!

I think we have too many people as well. Even though I live in a state that has one of the biggest population declines due to the bad policies of the democrat leadership. The traffic is still unbearable and developers are building on every square inch of land that they can find.
