Should a mandatory life sentence without parole be given to baby Emmanuel Haro's parents?

That's the 7 month old, hispanic baby that's been reported missing on Aug 14. The mother comes with a lame ''my son got kidnapped by a stranger'' story with no tears. She tried to pull a Susan Smith and people obviously aren't buying it. The father supports that kidnapping story but he already has a history of beating his 10 week-old daughter in the past (way back in 2018 or 2019) and leaving her with permanent brain damage. The girl is 6-7 years old by now but is legally blind and can't eat, talk nor walk. He only spent 6 months in jail.

Baby Emmanuel's parents have been arrested and are suspected of murdering their baby. That baby looked like he suffered from Shaken Baby Syndrome and it looks like they even took a postmortem picture. The baby's face is lifeless. He never looked happy in none of the pictures. It's obvious they killed that baby. Either that or the baby died shortly after that miserable excuse of a father shook him.

Mandatory life sentence for them? I think anyone that beats or shakes a baby hard and leaves permanent brain damage should be sentence to life without parole.

If they find very good evidence they murdered him yes. Also the dad definitely deserves to be in prison for longer than 6 months for what he did to the other girl. Whoever sentenced him to six months should be ashamed of themselves.

Yeah I don't understand why they release that man in such a short time after what he did to his own daughter.
I would've happily adopted that baby boy if I were in California and for sure he would've been smiling on pictures.
This case is gut wretching, so hard to comprehend how can anymore (esp a parent) harm and/or kill an infant.

Yes indeed. I wonder why can people who can't stand their babies just call the cops, explain the situation and give them up for adoption. Too many people that can't ever have bio kids (that always wanted a child) would provide all the love and care that kid needs.

Exactly. Even in a women's prison (for that so called mother) they hate women like her. She will either be ostracized and ignores or smack around if the other women get angry enough.
Meanwhile that man can consider himself a dead man once the other convicts get him.
I really think that baby was born normal but one of them shook him.
