I respect his willingness to challenge the status quo, even within his own party. I don’t think there’s anything necessarily moral about that. He’s not trying to end all immoral behavior in government. Certainly he supports a fair bit of immorality. Otherwise there would have been no need to establish limited presidential immunity. Sometimes people do bad things for good reasons. Sometimes people do good things for bad reasons. Those two statements sum up the vast majority of government at work since the dawn of civilization.
A truly moral crusader would be much more extremist than Drumpf is, and arguably more extremist than the lunatic left claims he is.
