No, because the "genetics for looks" has very little to do with actual genetics being transferred in human history and more to do with self care. Since most people (especially men) dont put that much time and money into taking care of their appearance, even an ugly person could easily beat 95% of the population in attractiveness by just doing the basics. Worst case they could get plastic surgery.

The only difference is that people would stop improving their appearance to "look good" and instead make themselves "look wealthy" or "tough".

People will always care about looks to some degree. It's better you just learn to love yourself and f*** off with whatever critiques others might have of you. Everyone gets old, frail, sick, and dies. Even the best supermodels one day is going to look pretty gross.😆 But inside she'll still be the same person.

I mean, no. Assuming that people all of a sudden stopped caring about looks when choosing a partner doesn't get rid of attractive people. These people will still exist and will still pass along their genetic traits to their kids.

the only argument you have is good looks are sufficiently linked with intact genetics that also include high energy output etc. but actually ugly "mutated" people typically have some kind of advantage like OCD or autism or some other unique advantages that Allows them to hyper focus and make tons of money from it

No. They still would exist. Think about this world now. You have people that are not attractive and not successful at all, yet they still have kids and pass along their genetics.

In your world, this would happen with attractive people. Even if they were not successful and rich, they would still find someone out there to have kids with.

im saying that the selective pressure for good looks is people who like good looks. without that other things people prioritize would take precedence and good looks stop existing to the same extent they could. in fact, that has likely already been happening. if you look at the places that have been 'civilized' the longest, the average person generally looks worse than areas where marriage influenced by money has not been the norm for very long.
