Support Trump "de-toothing" the US Legal Complex?

Possibly the greatest scourge to US and mankind... the litigeous legal complex that is the USA. We are a "sue" happy country and it's destructive and expensive. Should Trump grind it's finger nails down and de-tooth it?

Lets be honest, he's not the first to talk about it, but he's the only one with the guts and strength to actually get it done.

We do have to uphold the laws we set. In the perfect world of my making, the legal/judicial industry should be unbiased.

• One way to accomplish this is statutory specified term limit for judges with stringent requirements of education and judicial record.
• There should be a points system on attorneys and judges like a driving record based on reversals. Too many and you suspended for a fixed period.
• There should be a board of arbitrators to examine any case where a complaint of Lawfare or frivolity is filed. Like most (all?) of Trump's "felonies".

If you value freedom history tells us in all situations that powerful people being able to side step the law is how oppression is applied. Rule of law protects us the little guy. Yes it has problems and yes the current system is still heavily weighted to the powerful. Removing the rule of law will not make things better. Just less predictable and soon the "I'm proud to be an American because at least I know I'm free" will be as dead as the Dodo 🦤

It's a good point, only way to fight back against power sometimes is law. But USA goes to extremes when we for example... sue MCd's for $1,000,000 for spilling hot coffee on ourselves. Some of it is just nuts.

That’s more than a little hypocritical. Don’t you think. Drumpf has used the legal system to his own benefit. It’s also been used against him. I would expect that breadth of experience would demonstrate to most reasonable people that the system is functionally fair.
If he planned to fix it so that wealthy and influential people have no advantage over poorer people in US courts, that would be admirable! Anything else is a waste of time and likely will just lead to further corruption.

Trump intended to do this. However since Day one democrats have been using the courts to derail the policies that Americans voted him into office to do. He really had no choice but fight back.
