Am I the only person who doesn’t view suicide as brave?

I have seen people on this website say suicide is brave.

I don’t agree. People who died by suicide did so because they found life to be too tough or their life wasn’t happy enough.

I personally believe it takes more courage to live and try to fix the problems you may have in life instead of dying.

Suicide is either very angry or extremely despairing. Some folk kill themselves because they're mad at parents or the world and think, "They'll be sorry when I'm dead." That's the fuck-you suicides.

But, the saddest are those who cannot bear to live anymore and are so depressed they cannot imagine EVER getting better, so they kill themselves.

And I guess there's the combination of anger, as many of the shooters who've killed people, children, and then kill themselves: murder-suicides.

These are all people who haven't gotten help with mental illness, addictions, poor life situations, unresolved anger at themselves or blaming anger at "someone whose fault it is" that their life is what it is.

And what's horrible is that they don't know to reach out for help. Life is too precious to waste. And there is always the possibility of bad situations getting better.
