Is it abhorrent for people to make money from spending their time engaged in healthcare? Would YOU do YOUR job if you weren't paid?

Talking about corporations making a profit? Who formed those corporations? Who invested money in the corporations and why did they invest? Would the corporations be in a position to even offer healthcare but for the investors who put money into the R&D? And now they seek a return on their investment and you criticize them!

People are motivated by profit and, if you are honest with us, you will admit that you are also motivated by profit. . . right?

At the expense of the care? Yes.
Of course quality providers should be able to make some money in healthcare. What is happening more often than not is companies prioritizing profits over care. People who can’t afford treatment get lesser quality care, or none at all. Meanwhile, healthcare organizations and insurance companies are making billions. That’s a damn travesty no matter how you look at it. People should come before profits ALWAYS. If you can’t figure out how to do that, then you shouldn’t be in business.

Profit is Revenue minus expenses. If you don't have a profit you are probably going to go bankrupt it into debt.

"people over profit" applies to so many other areas beside crappy health care systems. We need more humanity, and mindfulness particularly during the looting niggеrs do. Like don't you think someone worked hard to build that TV? and you just steal it?

Are people that work in the healthcare field expected to work for free? They provide a service. Like all services you have to pay for them.

Yes, but you have to draw the line in sand somewhere. Healthcare is different than most other services in the world. Either it needs to be more affordable, or most jobs need to start paying more. One of the two. Countless Americans go without the vital healthcare that they need, because they simply just can’t afford it. That’s not right. When you are dying from a terminal illness, seeking medical treatment should NOT feel like a shopping experience. At the same time, I fully understand that the medical providers must be compensated for their efforts. Unfortunately, this issue is very much complex, without any real easy way to resolve it.

I agree. People need to make more money. The whole middle class was screwed over by our politicians from both parties. as their jobs were shipped overseas. People cannot afford to buy a house but they can buy a pair of shoes for 25 bucks.
