seriously, what are you smoking? His family mentions his recent political discussions. His hatred of Charlie Kirk specifically. The writing on the bullets was definitely trans related as well as showing his leftist beliefs. The writing on the fired casing said "notices bulges OwO what's this?" A direct reference to trans people.

It's pretty clearly leftist rhetoric. They have been the ones calling Charlie Kirk, Trump and anyone who follows them fascists for quite some time now.

I have no interest in debating this with you or anyone. I gave you the exact wording from the shells according to the latest press conference. That isn't a debatable subject at this point. Nor is the leftist talking point of accusing Kirk and every Trump follower of being a fascist. The fact is that this young man espouses the beliefs and viewpoints of the radical left. Period. Trump and the MAGA cult are so desperate to claim it's the left every time, that they have all these conspiracy theories ready to go and just start pointing the finger immediately. Then you find out the shooter in PA was a registered Republican, the guy in FL outside the golf course was a former Trump voter, just like the guy who killed Democrat politicians in Minnesota and now Kirk was killed by a MAGA guy. They probably wish it was an immigrant or a transgendered person but no matter that they're wrong almost every time, it doesn't stop them. In addition to their actual shooting people, their false accusations are the big rhetoric problem. But they think if they claim it about the other side enough that someone will believe it even though we always find out the opposite.

No, whether the shooter is labeled 'leftist' or 'rightist' is probably the same thing and misses the point entirely. These people who choose label themselves aa one of these are so entrenched into their hyper political mindset that they lose any sense of empathy and reason. Who and what else would it have been?  Another conservative? Sure, the more prudent thing to do would have been to wait until they were certain who it was, but given how the left refuses to be held accountable for any of the terrible things that they do in the world and how they celebrate events like this and demand and hope for more, I don't blame Trump for jumping to that conclusion.

What matters is the action itself: a person committed a terrible act. I don't think an apology is necessary for saying that, off the cuff, a reasonable assumption before all the facts are known.

The people who should apologize are the hundreds (thousands?) who posted celebration videos about Charlie Kirk's death. Some have already been fired for that. Maybe someday, people will realize that free speech still means that actions come with responsibilities.
