10 years old is maybe a little young, but I think we’d do well as humans to familiarize ourselves with the gruesome realities of gun violence, not the sanitized TV version of it that doesn’t include the gore. We apparently need to be shocked and traumatized into not killing each other, so I think the end justifies the means. Maybe not the place for the teacher, but something I think we should all have to watch, and hopefully that cools our asses off with this insane gun fetish we have in this country, no matter how much they push it as “self-defense.”

You want to disarm the populace, give me a good goddamn reason, a REAL ONE. Besides, why are they so desperate for the populace to not have guns, or ARMS of any kind in the first place? Why ban the purchasing/ ownership of body armor someplace? Or try to anyway? Why try to shred the Constitution?

Besides, with all this negligence and corruption from the higher ups in schools, security, and government surrounding shootings in any place, I'm left wondering what the whole story is.

My step grandson (7) plays one where ''double kill'' is a celebrated award - and he's far from traumatized. I counteract by demonstrating that violence is a disgusting thing.

I respectfully disagree. I doubt your local outlets would even deign to mention such unhinged behavior by a teacher, because that's probably standard fare for them. If news outlets are reporting it, they can't just fabricate it out of thin air. It happened. Deal with it.
