10 moIsn’t it protected free speech to say what you want about the guy, even if it’s seen as uncouth by some? Most of these people would’ve said the same things about him before he died. And theoretically THAT would be free speech, just like his speech that we find “distasteful” to say the least. “Hate speech is free speech”, I’ve heard the right say that before.
So why does it change simply because he died? It’s entirely possible for someone to think his death shouldn’t have happened while still maintaining the opinions I had about him in life. Nobody is required to mourn anybody they don’t like, no matter how they died. The right wing has railed against “cancel culture” for years, but here we are today, the government pressuring network TV to get rid of critical TV hosts, people actively trying to get people fired, etc….. what happened there? Seems like they all like this shit just fine when they can spin it and use it dishonestly.

10 moIt is indeed , that being said if we begin arresting people for having opinions , where does it stop. I can think of a number of people I would not be sad if they were killed. Hitler , for instance, how many, do you suppose , made less then rosey comments about his death. Following the beliefs of some of our leaders, do we then arrest those who made comments about his suicide?

10 moNo they should not as that is or at least once was a part of a constitution written at the beginning of this once great country which in recent years has been badly misused giving people the right to free speech even as disgusting as this or the burning of the American flag.
Problem is morons like you continue to fuel these awful hates and then getting the hateful responses as one would expect.
13 Reply- 10 mo
Did you know burning the American flag is the proper way to respectfully dispose of it when it’s no longer serviceable? I was in the military so that’s how I know
- 10 mo
I'm not talking about the proper way, i'm talking about during demonstrations against our government
- 10 mo
That’s fair. Yeah I can agree that Trump is being too extreme in response to it.
However, if you see me burning the flag. It would never be because of just one party. No, in fact currently I am politically homeless because I think our entire government is horrible. Not just one party, and truth is that pretty much all of the people burning the flag are doing so just because of who the president is. Rather than showing they have distain for the entire government
10 moI hope you're kidding because that's about the stupidest thing I've read on here... and that's saying something.

Why is it stupid?
- 10 mo
Really?
- 10 mo
Yes really. Now answer the question
- 10 mo
No. I don't think I will.
- 10 mo
Yeah because you don’t have one. You’re just a parrot echoing what you hear on tik tok.
Grow a brain - 10 mo
You know nothing about me. You claim to be right leaning yet you propose arresting people for their thoughts and opinions. That's dumb as fuck. You're as bad as those celebrating Charlie Kirk's assassination except on the opposite side politically. You either believe in the Constitution or you don't. You don't ignore the Constitution when it suits you and then bitch about it when others do the same.
- 10 mo
Did you not read the update to the question?
- 10 mo
Yes I read it. It is absurd which was my point exactly when I initially said it was the stupidest thing I've read on here. People who are celebrating Charlie Kirk's assassination are morally bankrupt assholes, but that doesn't mean we can shit on the Constitution to get back at them.
- 10 mo
Ok, I see what you mean now. I thought you were being biased.

Anonymous(36-45)10 moNot necessarily arrested because the First Amendment prohibits that. They should be fired and I'd be happy with their names being published on a no-hire list.

Nope. In the same way I am pro gun and pro choice because I am for the individual rights and freedoms?
I am saddened when innocent people are shot and killed. From charlie kirk to every school shooting. Innocent people don’t deserve to be killed. Period. Just like the people in gaza. Those are innocent people getting bombs dropped on them - 10 mo
Again. I’m consistent. You aren’t
10 moThey shouldn't be arrested. But they should be shamed.

That’s fair. As I put in the update. I don’t actually wish for this to happen. I was just proving a point on how lacking of sympathy some people are to Charlie Kirk’s murder

10 moNo, absolutely not. I do think it's atrociously wrong to celebrate death this way, but it still falls under freedom of speech regardless of who's feelings get hurt.
00 Reply 27.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. no but it is time for conservatives to draw a line in the sand. We did it the nice way up until now. Anymore killing and all bets are off.

Initially yes, but he began to pull away from Israel. Full disclosure, statistics prove that to this day the only people that are fully supportive of Israel are boomers. Most people in their 30’s and younger are against what Israel is doing. Including myself.
Also I don’t think he “celebrated” especially not like how some people are on tik tok. But invite you to show me a credible clip where he does

@SweetDripp why should anyone feel sorry for someone who supported child murder? That speaks volumes about you
- 10 mo
And approving of assassinating someone for their beliefs speaks volumes about you. It's funny how people don't mind terrorism as long as their adversaries are the target.
- 10 mo
@SweetDripp I don't care, you are a hypocrite, your opinions means nothing to me.
- 10 mo
How am I a hypocrite?

@SweetDripp you whine about Ukraine, Russia but never say anything about Palestinians or Israel because you follow western propaganda. Your country is just as evil as Nazi Germans

Ever heard of the concept of ignoring? Maybe that’s why charlie kirks killer and people like you are so violent. Because you cannot ignore people and think words are the equivalent to bullets…
Side note be careful what you wish for. You people are pushing for a civil war with people that are greatly comprised of military vets including myself. - 10 mo
Notice how you keep insulting me… when people insult they’re losing the argument.
