The Lord SURE does work in mysterious ways...
Very inappropriate, the FCC should have 0 to do with censoring speech. Kimmel is a liar but that's protected speech.

Paul is a classic republican. He thinks government should stay out of businesses’ affairs. The democrats who agree with him are hypocrites. They’re all “rah rah, big business bad!” unless that big business supports them in some way. The facts are simple. Every major network has made a habit of punishing conservative voices for making offensive remarks or outlandish statements. Failing to punish liberals who do the same puts them in a legally actionable position. Disney has already lost one such battle publicly. They were right to do what they did. Kimmel was given a chance to apologize or otherwise redress his remarks. He refused.
Whether Rand Paul and the hypocrite democrats want to admit it or not, the government was going to get involved one way or another. A phone call from the FCC or a lawsuit.
Lol all faux drama. They all work hand in glove. Truth is kimmel was down 40% since January. ABC & other networks relied on these largely cheap late night tv talk shows for viewers and the advertising revenue they provided but now they are looking into the abyss as streaming services take over. Then of course independent podcasts are competing too with former big beasts of talk shows such as bill maher, John Stewart, tucker carlson and others growing in popularity and being made at a fraction of the cost. What does a podcast need except maybe a half decent smart phone.
I hate that he makes me agree with him. But he's a turncoat. Publicly announces his opinions to try and cover his butt at the polls back home, then flips and sides with the orange rotting chub. His opinion is pointless. Proven time and time again.
No, Kimmel knowingly misled the public. Stations have lost their FCC licenses for less.
