Shows and movies like Wednesday, Wicked, and much of Disney and Nickelodeon are all aimed at kids between 10 and 17, and sometimes even younger.
Yet, I do not see toxic crap promoted by shows like The Simpsons, Bob’s Burgers, Family Guy, or American Dad. Why is that?

Does the Simpson's not have certain brands? The rest are adult cartoons.
As I remember cartoons are often made to promote to sell toys and other stuff.
Another thing I've noticed in general that the worse a product is the more money spent on advertising
When I was a kid, Saturday morning on TV was all cartoons. Bugs Bunny and the Road Runner, Super Friends, Spider Man and Scooby Doo. The only commercials were for toys , candy, cereal and other junk food. They really were hucksters.
Are you seriously asking why adult-marketed media isn’t marketing like children-marketed media?
