So all of the purpetrator went free. They succeeded in the end to put the men they wanted to put in power to be in power. They successfully devided the country, so some people even see it as doing a good thing and not an armed overthrowing of the elected government. They did not succeed on jan 6th, but it didn't fail in the long run. They achieved their goal and could do so without facing punishment. Contrary to the people demonstrating peacefully in the streets of L. A. And other places trump deemed as a war zone.

It showed that you could attack the Capitol and do pretty much everything you want, as long of course, as you're a trump supporter. Also, the special treatment reserved for trump during his trial in NYC, where he had his own dedicated little pig pen to bash the judge right on the steps of the courthouse. He was allowed to insult and threaten, as well as to spread his bullshit about a "political witch hunt". That too, made a mockery out of justice, just like the fact that trump, a convicted felon, was allowed to run for president again and won; showing the utter stupidity and the complete lack of respect and consideration for justice of trump's supporters.
