I've actually gone sailing in the area that I think this occurred. The people that are being killed are people that are operating very small boats that do not have the range to get to the United States. These are not drug smokers. These are simply fishermen doing. What fishermen do. They are trying to catch enough fish to make a living and to support their families. There is absolutely no way that the people on these small boats are drug dealers. These are open craft and there is no way that anybody would try to smuggle anything in them.

I have sailed extensively in that area, and I think you have not. I have seen the people in the small boats like the ones that have been destroyed. The people are fishermen as can be seen by the fishing lines they trail overboard, and the fish they have given us when they have come alongside when they have been anchored. The boats do not carry enough fuel to traverse 1073 miles, the shortest distance between the US and Venezuelan borders.

So no, I don't believe the people in those boats are "drug runners. You cannot "easily identify" people who you have just blown to pieces with missiles, as shown in the videos Trump released.

I think the boats can be easily tracked and blown up, but there is no way to tell what they were carrying or even who was in them after the fact.
