That was always the point of “The American Dream”. Keep people voting against their own interests to keep the wealthy in power based on the idea that if they work hard enough long enough to help the rich get richer, then they will one day become the oppressor instead of the oppressed.
That’s all it ever was. Subterfuge so that the proletariat never realizes that capitalism was created by the unproductive wealthy for the unproductive wealthy.

Yes, plus WHITE people commit the vast majority of white-collar crimes. Since many Amerikkkans link blue-collar crimes to us black folk and wish they could swipe millions, they'd rather see the jails full of poor black men, whom they loathe and fear because they lack guilt for the plight of black (and really, any) paupers.

There are plenty who would like to see justice done. It is not easy becuse they can afford the best lawyers and can bribe people.
