Over five years later, was it really worth banning protests during Covid?

Protesting government policies is such a fundamental part of democracy. And it is protected by the 1st Amendment. But during Covid, some political leaders banned protests in order to slow the spread of Covid. But is it ever acceptable to curb democracy?

Yes, banning protests under certain conditions is okay, such as during Covid. Not everything is always about democracy.
