Should the government make teen pregnancy and teen mom illegal?

I am pro-choice and I personally think a teenager should put her baby up for adoption or abortion.

I am against teen pregnancy and teen mother and it SHOULD NOT EXIST.

As an American young woman if one day I become president I will make sure to end teen pregnancy and teen motherhood.

Do you agree we should put at end to teen pregnancy? It makes me sad to hear young woman say the want to be traditional wife's and have as many kids as possible.

Young mother needs to STOP! I hope one day they make a law no woman under the age of 30 should not be allowed to be a mother only woman the age of 30 and over. Let's all put a stop to this.

America is a democracy. People choose to behave in the ways they want and some of those ways are being careless about birth control BECAUSE sex education is not being responsibly taught in middle schools. A million years ago, I had it in Catholic school at age 10, BEFORE puberty hit.

It was just static film strips with line drawings, but everyone got the gist of what was what. When I wanted more information, I checked out books at the library.

When youth don't get information from their parents or public or private education, this leads to people being careless, ignorant or BOTH about the consequences of sexual activity.

Sex is a natural human activity and you can no more make it illegal than you can make breathing illegal. What you CAN do is give youth information starting in 5th grade. And by high school, it will be Life Skills courses covering more mature sex information, how to have savings and bank accounts, how to make a car loan, get your drivers' license, pay rent, bills, apply for credit, plan a family, find child care...

Using birth control responsibly is a life skill all youth need to be exposed to. It's hard enough being a young adult without having to contend with being a premature parent. But there are so many people who DO NOT want their children to have sexual information. But studies show that youth with sexual information delay having sex and when they do, they use birth control.

Making something "illegal" does not deter behavior in the long run. Outlining consequences is a more rational approach.

Once a woman is over 30 the chances of birth defects, autism, and pregnancy complications start drastically increasing. Medically and biologically speaking, a woman's prime childbearing years are late teens to late 20's. Maybe you should actually know what you're talking about before you start speaking on medical matters.

Yeah, teenage pregnancy is cruel but almost many teen moms are not moms by choice.

How exactly are you going to stop it? I mean it's a good thing if you can stop it because it means you're basically making condoms and other measures 100% effective or completely protecting a teen girl from rape.

And what are they going to do when some teenagers inevitably fall pregnant? How could that be prevented? Will we arrest all pubescent girls and put them on permanent birth control? Imprison them until they are 18 so the can have no contact with boys?
