Girl, no. People hate landlords because they jack up prices and force you to leave to find somewhere else. My last landlord decided it would be better to sell the house I was living in rather than continue to let me rent so I had to move back home. A neighbor of mine had their landlord come to them with a new lease at double the monthly rate they had been paying, they couldn’t afford it so they ended up moving out to somewhere else in a shittier neighborhood with the same rent rate they’d had before. I live in the city of Nashville, which has so many “luxury” rental properties going empty because no one can afford an apartment at $4000 a month. That’s not something a normal Tennesseean could afford, let alone the fact that these are just city apartments with the only luxuries being a pool available to the whole building.
