Well? What is crime? Something decided by a collective authority such as the law and society and we all sign up to agree to it in order to be a part of society. If we want to be protected from crimes against us we have to agree to not do crimes against others.

However just like most human made things in life there is always a back door, a secret exit, a corner that can be cut or a blind eye that can be turned. The higher up you get to the authorities and "Law makers" the more power you have to not be a part of the same societal agreement as the "lower" classes.

Thank you. Philosophy student here haha. And specifically done a module on law and what is law and a separate one on morals. It's very interesting. But definitely, I'm learning more and more that almost everything is man made and anything man made is not infallible.
Even the most moral of laws "do not kill" is still man made. In nature it's not unacceptable to kill for survival or to defend or increase one's own territory. Leading to many questions of right and wrong and necessity of accepting unjust laws if we are also to live and abide by the laws that DO aid us.
Case in point: Socrates accepted death penalty despite his innocence because he accepted that as a citizen of his city he had made an unspoken pact to do as they say even if wrong.

Personally I think the law and law makers must be held accountable for decisions that are biased or wrong. But the wealthy have always held power.

Or just live in a blue zone and identify as some oppressed class. You don’t even need money. Do whatever you want. If the cops bother to arrest you at all, the DA & judge will let you go without so little as bail or bond.
Democrats are literally letting known violent offenders with long established criminal records run amok with impunity. Meanwhile, they prosecute law abiding gun owners for merely protecting themselves and their families from the same criminals the lunatic left refuses to mitigate.
