Extremely rarely but, if I do, it's in reference to those of the asshole variety: those that steal, rape, kill, think they deserve more than they have just because they were born with a darker tan than me. Besides, THEY use it CONSTANTLY!! Oh, sure, you can candy coat it by claiming that it's a different word because it SUPPOSEDLY ends with an A instead of an ER but, what if I refer to Italians as, "wopps" with an extra P and claim it's a completely different word because of that, or, because when I say, "degoes" , it doesn't mean the same because of the E on the end? Does that make this shit any better? How about if I spelled, Kraut with a C. You Germans can't come at me for calling you that because I pronounced it with a C, not a K!!
I, however, don't see people as whatever race, creed, nationality or skin colour they happen to be! They had NO CONTROL over that!!! I see them as PEOPLE!!! No better or worse than me, unless they turn out to be assholes, THEN I have no qualms about saying so, no matter WHAT colour, etc., they happen to be!!
And it has NOTHING TO DO with who I vote for or my political aspirations!!!
One of the last jobs where I worked a decade ago was owned and run by democrats and nearly everyone there was a democrat and I was nearly shocked to hear quite a few of them openly refer to blacks that way!! Even some of the younger guys that were in their early 20's!! UNTIL, they hired a black guy as the delivery driver!!
So, does THAT make you feel any better being a democrat, to KNOW that it's YOUR SIDE that are the racists and are QUITE OPEN about it?
My dad (A DEMOCRAT!!!) was VERY prejudiced but I hadn't even heard HIM use that word since the early `80's!! Although, another job I had 25 years ago was almost completely populated by blacks and I even heard some of them make rude racial references about some of their own kind.
Most of the people in my family were democrats and very racist!! Go figure! I wonder how that happened? Hmmmmm.

I am certain most of us don't, but as a ceremony of free speech , i need to secretly say it in a positive way , like "that athlete is a skilled nibbler. " or uhura is a hot nibbler". Nothing insulting of course.
