Even though companies like UPS and Fed Ex charge a lot to send packages to AL and HI , First Class mail should be a standard rate for all 50 states.

The USPS is in business to mostly deliver first class mail and junk mail. Rural delivery is part of the deal. This is how cable tv is supposed to be set up as well.

No. They shouldn't. Federal agencies should operate the same generally in every state and territory.

Also would mention that people in alaska should be given $30,000 per year for every citizen to try to bribe them to stay and a one off $90,000 to live there. Nobody wants to live there and the US needs people there to occupy the land.

there's 700,000 people in alaska and every year 40-50,000 leave never to return, those leaving are 18-25.

I think it all balances out because some places are closer than others so I’m sure they to balance out the cost but if it was any other carrier it is definitely added to the cost
