Why is travel so expensive in Canada/USA than Europe?

I don't know. Maybe because USA and Canada is much further apart.

In Europe it takes just a 2 hour drive to be in an entire different country, also no border controls.

yeah it kind of sucks but why would you want to travel to the USA or Canada. You can have more fun in cheaper countries.

Isle say uk is still cheaper than Canada people can’t even afford to own a home in Canada especially in Toronto where ordinary houses are a million dollars

I don't know honestly, bur I've noticed this as well. It's more expensive to fly domestically, then it is to fly to Europe and parts of Asia and Africa even. It's crazy!
