What are the difficulties of being an immigrant?

For me - the language, being able to communicate, not being understood and not understanding others.

My grandparents had to work very hard. They came to America as teenagers and worked menial jobs before being able to afford to buy property. My mother's parents bough a multi family house and rented out part of it. They all became citizens and learned English. They loved America and were patriots.
Real immigrants want to become Americans. They do not take handouts and they want to become part of the greatest country on Earth.
